Wonderful holiday in lovely surroundings
We (f & m, 27) have chosen the holiday home of Keith and Clara as it is ideally located for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The house is very idyllic situated in a small village, about 15 min drive from the "white village" Vejer de la Frontera.
We had everything we needed for a longer holiday (we spent 2.5 weeks there). The kitchen is very well equipped, even a barbecue is available.
The absolute highlights of the apartment are the very secluded terrace with a view on Vejer, where you can watch the sunset in the evening, and the huge roof terrace that invites you to sunbathe all day long.
It is wonderful that there is so much nature around you. The apartment is far away from the tourist places. In the evening, sitting on the terrace, one can hear various animal noises. We even saw a swarm of flamingos flying over our heads...
Nearby (15-30 min by car) are lots of different beautiful beaches that should definitely be visited. Our favourite was the beach of El Palmar; but also the Playa de Bolonia with its big shifting dune should not be missed.
The many small villages nearby (Vejer, Barbate, Los Canos de Meca, etc.) are well suited for eating. However, as everywhere in Spain, you should be aware that most restaurants are closed in the afternoon/early evening ( :-) ). Therefore we cooked quite a lot ourselves, also due to the good kitchen equipment.
We spent a really wonderful holiday at Keith and Clara's house. The two are great hosts; they have rarely been seen (they live on the same property), but if you had any questions, they were there immediately.
We would come back anytime - Andalusia still has so much to offer and we had the greatest place to stay. :-)

Bellissimo appartamento dotato di tutti i comfort necessari per una vacanza al mare. Posizione strategica per andare ovunque, proprietari Keith & Claire che sembrano John Lennon e Yoko Ono, super gentili e assolutamente non invadenti (eppure è casa loro). Terrazza al piano strepitosa, terrazza al primo piano da leggenda. Mai sentito il bisogno di accendere la Tv, basta affacciarsi alla vetrata o uscire al tramonto godendosi i colori dell'Andalusia in compagnia di una fresca Cerveza. Spero di tornarci un giorno.

Comoda posizione per visitare la costa de la Luz
Visra bellissima su Vejer, casa in posizione molto comoda per visitare le spiagge e i bellissimi paesi della costa della Lux. Keith e Clara, i proprietari, sono molto gentili!

Bell'appartamento in campagna con tutti i comfort (c'è la tv con il lettore dvd e presa usb non ci sono i canali tv) ) wifi funzionante . Keith e Clara sono persone molto carine ci hanno dato anche l'ombrellone per la spiaggia, c'è anche la lavatrice e l asciugatrice , la casa ovviamente essendo in capagna galline cani cavalli mucche non mancano si fanno sentire. Per noi è stato un ottima base per vedere le spiagge della zona tipo Bolonia ,Capo Trafalgar ,Zahara , Tarifa

"Lovely place to get away from it all"
We chose this holiday home because we wanted an affordable, quiet, beautiful place to stay within driving distance to the beach. The house had everything we needed, it's the perfect size for a couple. We cooked our own meals all week and the kitchen served us well. The views are stunning, the terrace is lovely for meal outside including BBQ. The setting is very peaceful and remote. We absolutely loved being able to pick oranges from the trees in the garden and make our own juice every morning! Keith was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had, but wasn't intrusive at all. We recommend hiring a car if you stay here.

Gite confortable à la campagne avec vue imprenable sur vejer.maison fonctionnelle bien équipée (manque la tv) propriétaires adorables toujours prêts à vous aider tout en restant discrets . nous y reviendrons

Stayed at this beautiful apartment for 8 days late August, early September. Set in the charming rural village of el Soto, it's location was just perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle and fully recharge the batteries.
The apartment is positioned in a beautiful spot with views over the rural landscape and the hillside village Vejer in the distance. The balcony was fantastic to watch the sun rise with a morning coffee and last thing at night over a cold beer watching the sunset on Vejer.
You could also use the balcony to sunbathe during the day although given the apartments close proximity to a number of stunning beaches, we tended to head out to the coast. If you need any information or advice on places to visit, Keith the owner is great and can give you plenty of advice and travel directions. That said, he was very respectful and allowed us privacy to enjoy the peace and solitude but was there if we needed him.
In addition to exploring the numerous beaches, we also took a trip to Gibralter and Cadiz. The later was particularly nice and we'd recommend the old town for food and to enjoy the wonderful old buildings and views of the ocean, All in all, a great apartment, well positioned to enjoy the real Spain and it really made the holiday. We'd happily return to do some more exploring, perhaps we'll explore Seville and the surrounding area when it's not the height of summer!

In de herfst van 2013 zijn we drie weken in Casa Clara in El Soto geweest.Dit vakantieverblijf is ideaal voor rustzoekers.De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis is eenvoudig en doelmatig ingericht.Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we Spaanse zenders op de tv gemist en ook een stevige parasol voor op een van de prachtige terrassen. Dit verblijf is een aanrader om de mooie zuid-west hoek van Andalusië te bezoeken.

"Heerlijke vakantie gehad bij Keith & Clara! Wat een geweldige, gewone mensen zijn dit. Ze staan steevast voor je klaar met raad en daad. Schatten zijn het! En het huisje was ook prima in orde. De uitzichten vanaf één van de terrassen waren fantastisch! Zowel op de natuur vlak achter de woning als op Vejer de la Frontera, dat ''s morgens zo mooi in de zon lag en ''s avonds samen met ons de lichtjes aanstak. Deze vakantiewoning is een topper. De inrichting is basis, maar dat is geen tekortkoming, integendeel! Maar de combinatie van rust & zon, de hartelijkheid van de eigenaars en de eenvoud van een met liefde gebouwd vakantiehuis maakten onze vakantie alvast tot een onvergetelijke week. Bedankt voor alles. Tot de volgende keer!

Très agréable maison avec une vue dégagée et magnifique sur Vejer de la Frontera. Citadins, nous avons apprécié le calme des lieux. La maison est aussi très bien située pour rayonner sur la région (plages, Cadix, Tarifa...). Keith et Clara sont des hôtes accueillants et charmants."

"Everything was great! The house is really very charming, everything you need is there, the living room has a perfect panorama through big windows, it was so nice to view sunset over Vejer de la Frontera each evening! The owners are so nice and friendly, they helped us in every small question we had during our stay! Dear Clara and Keith, thank you once again for your hospitality! Of course, it''s very desirable to have a car if you decide to stay at this house. We hope very much that one day we will come back!!!!"
