Unfortunately google street maps did not venture down the

unpaved road to Casa Clara, this is as far as they went in El Soto.

However, Casa Clara is located about 400 metres down this road.

 

 

Directions to Casa Clara

Directions from Malaga are :-

 As you leave the airport, take the road signposted Cadiz [the other one is for Malaga]. After approximately 3 or 4 kms, take the turn for Algeciras/ Cadiz .This road has various numbers A7, AP7[when it is a toll road], E15 and in parts N340. Stay on the toll road, it is easier driving and an hour quicker in peak periods and will cost around €14 in summer, €8 in winter. The roads have km markers, the road starts at approximately km 228, passing Fuengirola at km205, Marbella at 180, Estepona 160, Algeciras at 105, Tarifa at 87 and you arrive at El Soto at Km 41.

Follow road for about 500 m, you will then see a fat Chef advert, turn left there,follow the road for 200m , you will pass Venta Altamira, on your right  (you can buy milk  there), keep going and the next Venta is bright orange and called Venta Pacquito, it is on your left,  follow the road, and you will come to a cross roads, one leading up to Cafe Kurupay, the 2nd on your right is a dirt road, follow this for 400m till you get to a slight dip in the road and at this dip on the right is our house, it has a green gate,you can open it and drive right in, please close gate as local dogs often come in to visit!!

The directions from Jerez are :-


From Jerez airport, take the A4 motorway in the direction of Cadiz for approx 40kms to Km669,from here take the A48 dual carriageway direction Chiclana. 
Stay on this road until the exit at Km 41, on what is now the N340 or E5 signposted  El Soto, turn right here.

Follow the directions as detailed above.


  

 The directions from Gibraltar are:

If you are flying to Gibraltar, you may either hire a car from Gibraltar, or walk 3 minutes across the border to La Linea and drive off from there, without border queues.

From La Linea car rentals, you take the road straight for 7kms to the junction of the N340 at km 118, from there take the road towards Algeciras, and stay on it until the turning at km 41 for El Soto, Turn left here.

Arrival time can be no earlier than 4 pm

Departure time is no later than 10.30 am

This is in order to have the house cleaned in time for the

arrival of the next guests, although bags may be left to be
